America's Paw Spaw Mobile Grooming Policies
Are you interested in our bathing and grooming services? We love new clients! Before we can pamper your pet we’ll have to agree on a few mobile grooming policies:
Safety First– For your Pet and our Stylists
Our mobile grooming policies are designed for the safety of our stylists, we will not provide service for aggressive dogs. Client must inform America’s Paw Spaw of any previous biting or aggressive behaviors shown by the pet.
If your pet displays any aggressive behaviors when grooming begins, We reserve the right to refuse services or muzzle a dog only if extremely necessary for safety.
Additionally, America’s Paw Spaw will not perform bathing and mobile grooming services on pets with open sores, cuts, or wounds.
Payment for Service
Full payment is expected at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Although you may tip your pet stylists with cash, we only accept debit or credit cards payment for bathing and mobile grooming services.
Appointments and Cancellations
We will do our absolute best to be on time for your appointment. Please understand that the convenience of a mobile business may occasionally be disrupted by traffic, weather, a difficult pet or other schedule impacts. We’ll definitely keep you apprised of any schedule disruption as your appointment draws near.
If you are unable to keep your appointment please notify us by 9am day prior to your scheduled appointment day. We have reserved this day and time for you not allowing us to serve an other customers so please respect our Stylist’s time.
Facility Sanitation
Keeping America’s Paw Spaw clean and safe is our #1 priority. Before performing our bathing and grooming services on your dog, our pet stylist will inspect your furry kid for the presence of fleas or ticks.
If your dog is found to have fleas and/or ticks, America’s Paw Spaw will bathe your dog using a flea and tick shampoo to maintain sanitation of our facilities. There will be an additional charge of $25 added to the service ticket for this service. These treatments are not guaranteed to completely eradicate fleas and ticks and may require additional treatments. There will be an additional service charge of $125 added to the already agreed upon grooming charge for a flea infestation cleaning charge.
However, dogs found to be completely infested with fleas and ticks will be given back to the client with a recommendation that they should be treated by a veterinarian.
Our Products
America’s Paw Spaw never uses harsh chemicals for our bathing and grooming services. If your dog is known to have any skin allergies, please notify us at the time you make your appointment. Client shall not hold America’s Paw Spaw responsible in the event of an allergic reaction to any products used.
General Policies
By allowing America’s Paw Spaw to perform bathing and grooming services for your pet, Client grants permission and consent to America’s Paw Spaw for the use of images and pet likenesses to be used for advertising and/or social media purposes.
Grooming can be more stressful for elderly or ill pets putting them at greater risk of accident or injury.
Grooming these pets may expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current condition for which America’s Paw Spaw shall not not be held liable.
